a good enema a few hours before sex is best if you do it just before sex sometimes there's extra water in there and can make it worse.. the best way i know of is.. enema wait an hour or so enema again if its clean then give it a couple hours to make sure all the water is out and have fun ( make sure to use lots of lube after the washing it can dry up faster)

seriously though I understand your issue as I have previously earned the nickname "puddinbottom". It can be embarrassing when this happens as it has been for me in the past. There is always a chance this will happen when you play with your ass in any way but, there are steps you can take as you mentioned. There are anal douches you can buy at your local pharmacy over the counter or from any adult novelty store. There are other posts on this subject here in the BiP forum and they echo the previous answers. My experience with Enemas is that you don't have to use the chemicals and can do your own solution, similar to 4Looking4, but with a more manual bottle, also like classybidude's camel back, though you really want to make sure you keep track of which tube is connected before using it to drink. In times past enemas were much more common and people did their own solutions. I've also read that soap is not recommended due to the drying it can cause.

Don't be embarrassed, your body is working just the way it's supposed to. The rectum is designed to hold fecal material until your next bowel movement, so there's bound to be something there unless you do a little prep. As you can tell by the response to your question, you're hardly the first to encounter this issue.

Here's what works for me: I use an enema bulb with clear, warm water until everything flushes clear. If you wish, you can use a few drops of Dr. Bonner's liquid castile peppermint soap (very gentle and the organic oils prevent drying) for a more confident feel without the harsh chemicals used in store bought enemas. Just use a few drops on the first wash, and follow with clear water for 1 or 2 times. Or, you can use a pinch of sea salt to prevent drying and irritation, as this more closely matches the rectum's natural moisture composition.

Finally, when everything is clear, I use 1 or 2 bulbs of air to help remove any excess water. Yes, the air comes out as you might expect, but I find it better than waiting for any excess water to find its own way out. (By the way, I learned this little trick from a previous forum discussion on this site, so thanks to a previous poster.) If you've eaten light beforehand, this should keep the works clean for a few hours of spontaneous fun without the anxiety.
