Hi all, new here but have already had some great discussion with a number of you. So far everyone has been gentle, kind and very erotic, in a good way. I just would like a little discussion on setting boundaries. I have very limited experience, most good but some, not so good. When I think it over the not so good ones were when I was up front about how far I would go when the relationship was new, once naked and into it, the other person tried to take the physical play a few steps further than I felt safe to do. Its kind of funny, having been "straight" for the first 65 years of my life I think back on how women must have felt when I was a horny guy trying to get as much as I can. I am older, wiser I think, and am looking more for quality and quantity these days. Just thought I would see if someone else has some thoughts and experiences with this topic.

Everybody is different in this respect, lancing.

But the key is you have to be able to trust the person or people or you shouldn't even bother with the relationship.

Pay attention to the obvious as well as subtle clues about the person and what they are trying to do.

A potentially dangerous sex fantasy is okay to go for with people as long as you know they are safe, sane and trustworthy. But I wouldn't rush into something like that with complete strangers. You have to spend the time to get to know people.

Fully agree, that is why I never go forward with any sexual encounter until I have a sit down discussion with the other person, face to face.
