I'm a sensitive artist type with a stronge sense of humor and whimsy. I'm 5' 11" 180 pounds, hazel eyes, brown hair. I've been called hot, cute, handsome. I have great legs, box, and a pleasant Irish face. I like language and enjoy talking. I can play shy and quiet but ultimately, I enjoy language too much to stay silent. I'm an actor, songet, and sculptor. I am moving to Las vegas in January of 2006. I enjoy cooresponding with others via emails/ chat groups etc.

LOL Motorcycleman. That is about as far as my knowledge of the language takes me as well. It seems like a complicated language. I keep hearing though that English is the hardest language to learn.

LMAO, Thanks for the responses and commas go where I tell them to go, Period,
[ pun intended.] I learned from the instructor, that there are no punctuation symbols in the Typonese language. ha ha ha. If one does opt to use them, they can put them anywhere they want. Typonese is that sort of language.
My original post was, however, directed at ones ability to determine the basic context and intent of a message, not spelling, grammar or punctuation. I just thought I should
clear that up.
Now lets all get naked and skip through the Mall-function.
wtf? tometi is not a word in the Spanish language. The Spanish for "to eat "is: comer... eat horns would be: (command form) come quernos ... to eat horns would be: comer cuernos that is all for today's language lecture Wink
English is not his first language.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
NVC is a process or language intended to create a consciousness that avoids relating based on judging, blaming, or deserving of reward or punishment, but instead focuses on clear observations, feelings, needs, and doable requests so that everyone's needs are more likely to be met, and met out of playful joy, giving to others motivated by the need to contribute as opposed to motivations like guilt or shame. Librarian
While in high school, taking a foreign language was an elective. I wasn't the least bit interested. I worked in the Library instead. While a Sophomore in college, I was doing research for my mother. A female Librarian there. She helped me find what I was looking for. I got more than I bargained for. I lost my virginity. She liked me so much, it became a regular thing until I graduated and moved out of state for an employment opportunity. So, I like Librarians.
Satan
lol Satan? Does anybody know where the term Satan actually came from? It references a part of the Bible where Christ encountered a demon who wasn't actually named. And it was this demon who was the one who attempted to tempt Christ to use his powers. Instead, Christ said to it : "Get behind me Shaitan" (meaning "Get behind me enemy", or in plain English, "Leave me alone for you are my enemy") And when the Catholic monks were translating the Bible throughout the centuries, the mistakenly mistranslated the word "Shaiten" for "Satan", thinking that it was the demon's actual name. The reason for this being that Hebrew was (and still is) a very difficult language to translate. Not to mention, Hebrew had to be translated to Greek, then Latin, and finally English. Btw, that goes for the entire old testament and many words of the new testament for they were originally written in Hebrew.
Poetry
In the movie Dead Poet's Society, Robin Williams character said two things that were always true and profound to me: 1) one we must Seize the Day, Carpe Diem, before we shuffle off this mortal coil; and 2) language and specifically poetry was invented to woo women. But at my back I always hear Time's winged chariot hurrying near; And yonder all before us lie Deserts of vast eternity. Thy beauty shall no more be found, Nor in thy marble vault shall sound My echoing song; the worm shall try That long preserved virginity, And your quaint honor turned to dust, And into ashes all my lust. The grave's a fine and private place, But none, I think, do there embrace. Now therefore, while the youthful hue Sits on thy skin like morning dew, And while thy willing soul transpires At every pore with instant fires, Now let us sport us while we may; And now, like am'rous birds of prey, Rather at once our time devour, Than languish in his slow-chapped power. Let us roll all our strength, and all Our sweetness, up into one ball; And tear our pleasures with rough strife Thorough the iron gates of life. Thus, though we cannot make our sun Stand still, yet we will make him run. Andrew Marvel 1649 To His Coy Mistress
