You may get better responses if you post this in the Kansas personals ....when you opened the forums scroll down till you find the personals by state and look for Kansas you may have more people from your area responding

What you describe is quite common amongst all personals and Lifestyles websites out there, and I doubt it will change anytime soon. Many people just like to live the fantasy of the Lifestyle, and will never follow through, and yes, they can be a aste of time for the more serious people. But, it is something we have come to know and expect and really no longer get upset about. It is something you just have to accept.

When we are in contact with people, we set up an initial meeting at a local bar we hang out at. That way, if they don't show (which most don't), we haven't really wasted our time. We have met a number of couples and singles from our area that way, and of course, still had a few "no shows" (mainly the single men).

I do have to say that we have met more honest people from here on BP than on any other site out there. The people here do tend to use recent pictures nd are honest of their profiles, and we certainly appreciate that.

I like the idea of deleting the old posts in the personals forums. I just saw one where someone just replied to a post from 2010. I would get rid or any post older than 6 months in the personals section. As long as people know that their post will expire in 6 months they can always come back and repost if they are still looking.
