yes it seems reasonable to me too. since the vegas party seems to be all booked & well on the way to a success i don't see any reason why other parties can't be posted now because i am sure any other parties wouldn't draw anyone away from attending the vegas party. there has been alot of talk about the overflow & booking rooms in another hotel in vegas so i think that would constitute a success even before the party takes place. i was in the chat room when some members mentioned about their money having to be in on the 22nd of january so would it be safe to assume that the new travel & party planning section will be up & running shortly after the 22nd?

I see that the discussion and planning for Vegas has been reopened, and that BP is accepting booking for the Vegas Party. I assume that this means the problems related to the legalities and technical difficulties for BP, which necessitated the closing of the Travel and Party Planning section of BP's forums have now been resolved. However; I notice that the topics on the travel section are still not yet open, nor is any posting being allowed. Rather, any click on a link that would have been travel oriented is now being directed to the Vegas party section.

While I am very supportive of the Vegas party, for work, distance and cost reasons I am unable to attend - therefore, I'm interested in knowing when the forum section will be reopened for Non-Vegas oriented discussion. Can it be reopened now? What are the impediments that are restricting discussion, and how soon before they can be resolved and removed? Thanks for your consideration in keeping those of us interested in this matter informed! :)

Sorry to dissapoint Willie but the Vegas BP party was planned and discussed with the webbies from the word go. This I do know because I found the location! Some of those who worked on Vegas are too still here.

If the webbies ever decide to have another and it is in S Ca, I have already given them places we could have one at so location would not be that difficult.

Doing a BP party the caliber of Vegas takes lots of work to plan so it runs smoothly. It cannot just be put together in a couple of months.

obviously I'm biased but I"m also logical too (at least I like to believe so). Why not Las Vegas? We're a great travel hub. There are really good deals for both travel and hotels. In addition, we have some of the best swing clubs in the country. From J& J's Western Swing out in Pahrump (about an hour outside Vegas) to the standards like the Green Door, Red Rooster, and the fairly new Power Exchange (single guy, LBGT friendly).

I've lived all over but I think I still see Las Vegas with an objective eye. I don't know how the last BP event went, wasn't it at the Blue Moon resort? I haven't been to the Blue Moon but I was under the impression it leaned more towards gay male clientele (not that I have any problems with that). I'm sure there are many more "bi" friendly places to meet now. I would be more than happy to do any footwork necessary to bring an event to life here if there's serious interest.
