I'm not sure in this city that is actually acknowledged at all certainly not to the extent of the gay pride events. .... Does anyone know of events in their area to recognize the day ....Is bisexuality becoming more recognized and maybe even mainstream like being gay or lesbian maybe one day it wont be as taboo as it has always seemed to be

You may find more success on a site that allows listing of local events. Look for things like a Meet & Greet. They are set up for the purpose of having members meet other local members socially. Those social meetings can lead to finding someone who is willing to meet privately for whatever purpose you agree on.

I have not been a trial member for very long, and am testing to see if I get to meet REAL people in my local area. If not I doubt I will pay to be a ongoing member. Most other sites are full of BS and wannabees. I also cannot understand why folks will not, at the least, meet for a cup of coffee to see if there is any interest.

If one takes the trouble to register and place an ad, why not just meet someone, may make a new friend if not a sexual one.

I am in the same boat as everyone else, those that will at least answer are miles away with no opportunity to meet face to face. I don't have the time to travel 50 miles to see someone, surely there are others in the local area who would want to meet someone. Where are they?
