I am an older male, experienced in many forms of play - a lot more in the BDSM scene than this scene - but I am open to most anything. I am completely comfortable in any group or with any gender include the trans-gender or trans-sexual or any other flavor of 'trans-' you choose to follow.

jaywestchester22: Actually, there are transsexual men and transsexual women. This is exactly WHY these terms are invalidating and dehumanizing. A trans-man is a MAN who was assigned female at birth based on their genitalia. Like Trans-women, they never felt right with that gender identity and always identified with the other gender. For the longest time there were little resources to help people understand what they were struggling with so most of us accepted being called some pretty offensive things like "shemale" or whatever and just blended into the Gay/Lesbian scene. The only difference between trans men and trans women is in the effectiveness of surgeries; unfortunately the surgeries aren't so great for trans men. They are also not nearly as fetishized, ridiculed, demonized, or despised as trans women who are routinely depicted as predatory MEN pretending to be women in order to trick their victims. It's, honestly, incredibly stupid and I don't even get how anyone gets off on this fantasy.
Pirtman, the correct term is transgender or just “trans.” You can specify “trans-feminine” or “trans woman” to mean a male-to-female transitioner. BTW, “transgendered” has fallen out of favor, because it implies that the person has has a gender applied to them, rather than expressing the gender they already are, despite physiology.

Tranny, shemale, she-he, etc. are all considered slurs by the transgender community as a whole, even though some trans people still use them.

The opposite is “cisgender” meaning someone whose at-birth physiology matches their self-perceived gender.
A good place to start, although this should be part of your intro online, is to ask about preferred pronouns. Almost all transgender people prefer the pronoun that matches their gender, so trans women will often use “she” and “her.” However, I know more than a few transgender people who prefer gender-neutral pronouns “they” and “them” instead. It’s a matter of personal preference, so there is a lot of variation. I even know a trans guy who uses “he” or “they” interchangeably.
Let's not confuse sex-assigned-at-birth with gender identity and gender expression.

Gender identity refers to one’s innermost concept of self as a man, a woman, a blend of both or neither – how individuals perceive themselves and what they call themselves. One's gender identity can be the same or different from their sex assigned at birth.

Gender expression refers to the external appearance of one's gender identity, usually expressed through behavior, clothing, body characteristics or voice, and which may or may not conform to socially defined behaviors and characteristics typically associated with being either masculine or feminine.

A person’s gender identity and expression are not the same as their sexuality. Transgender and non-binary people may be gay, straight, bi+ or any sexuality which they feel best describes themselves. Gender identity and gender expression also may or may not be aligned with typical societal expectations of gender. It is both possible and valid to be a feminine trans masculine person, a masculine trans feminine person or any combination of identity and expression with which someone feels most comfortable.
Just a friendly PSA: The depiction of trans-women in media and particularly porn is often offensive. The punchline is the typical, "Dude Looks Like A Lady." Trans-women are a tiny percentage of the overall population and even within the LGBT community itself, thus overshadowed by the far more numerous "Drag Queen" or Cross-Dresser (which are much closer to what people having the "chick with a dick" fetish are actually seeking - these are men who identify as men but enjoy some gender-bending role play. Actual Trans-women want simply to be identified as WOMEN - reminding them of the misfortune of their birth sex is actually rather cruel and unjustified. They live, work, and play as women - and are recognized by the government AS SUCH. Please, if your interest is in the "role play, Tranny fetish," please just say you're seeking a "passable cross-dresser?"
"Never meant to hurt?" Something like 80% of the fatal attacks against LGBT people consists of Trans* women. It is still legal in MOST states to murder a Trans woman without consequence on the basis of "gay panic" - ya know "He tricked me into thinking he was a she." While bisexuals are portrayed as relatively harmless "confused" people in media; Trans women are depicted as predatory men corrupting/raping men AND women. Trans men and women were just banned from the military by the Cheeto, who is trying to roll back DECADES of legal acceptance of fully transitioned people - that is; people who don't want anything to do with your fetishes - they just want to take their gender identity for granted JUST LIKE YOU DO. Just like bisexuals who don't want to be thought of as confused, hypersexual, cheating perverts. Just like gay men and women who don't want their sexual preferences being the only damned thing that defines them in the eyes of straight folk. But, ya know, if you want to keep on dismissing the WEAKEST constituency in the LGBT community - go right ahead. I'm done with it anyway.

Hello BillnPattie, Thank you both for the welcome letter. I am so glad that I stumbled on to this site. I was at my wits end as to how I could or ever would meet men and women who have the same discerning tastes as I do. I have been inside and looked around and I really love the site. Again thank you, Raphael
