I'm not ready for meeting people just yet. I like to take the time to get to know them. I feel a lot fo the getting to know part of dating deals with just talking, so there's no reason not to do so via e-mail. We can get to know each other same as if we're together, but without the hassel of scheduling meeting times, and worrying about traffic, etc. I'm afraid I like to take these things slowly, to be sure and safe. I'm also not in this just for sex, but a real relationship. Don't worry, it's not like it'll take me 5 years, but not like I'll know in just 5 weeks, either. I know what ahppens when you don't take the time to really get to know the true person. I'ms ure this will turn off quite a few people. But I know others will understand. Plus, you don't have to waste time/money on dates, because we can do the talking and learning online. Once we know we seem to click/like each other/etc, we can move up to meeting, and making sure we can stand being in the same room together, and take it form there. Slowly. I should not be meeting the folks on the third date. Though, I also don't see this taking more than 2 years worse case scenario. Though, actual time depends on frequency of replies. And assumign honesty, which will be found out when we take the relationship to the next level anyway.
