Was a director of a large sportsmen's club and a state certified hunter safety instructor for the State of Michigan teaching young people (no longer a hunter). I was a elected union safety man when I worked at Detroit Edison [wrote a monthly column, Dube's Safety Corner, for the union newspaper] and a elected union steward when I worked for Michigan Bell. I was a VIP panel member on the televised Easter Seal Telethon for a number of years. Was a male model for a number of fashion shows, bit scary but gave me a great chance to show off my ass I was a successful Realtor and office manager for almost 5 years. Became a mortgage banker/broker (an honest one) for over 30 years n a Asst. Vice President and branch manager for a Billion Dollar, Mid-West lender [DMR Financial Inc.] running their largest branch in the country. I helped over 4,000 families and couples get their dream homes. Gave me much satisfaction and great fun, to give so much back to my community.

When the crash came (more of a Riptide actually) I had feet in both industries and for now I'll just say it was very different. Glad for a good sense of humor and steadfastness. Thank God I know how to be a Survivor.

at first sight is very possible. Did a mortgage for a young at heart couple in their young 70s, and where very much in love with each other, as newlyweds are. They had met 30 years previous at a White Castle restaurant and got married the next day. So ya it is possible.
Spent most of my life in Southeast Michigan. Grew up on a small island, in Gibraltar, MI a small island community, 15 miles south east of Detroit, at the mouth of Lake Erie and of course love the water. Enjoyed to reference to myself as a kid from the swamps and shores of Lake Erie. Could water ski to Canada in just 15 minutes, very cool way to live. Was diagnosed with asthma at 18 years in Milwaukee, WI while in the US Army. Lungs did work quite well in MI, and could do anything. After retiring from business I moved to Arkansas to visit my daughter. Got the usual Arkie welcome and got stung by a scorpion. Did a lil' dance that day for sure. The day I got to AR, Oct 2012. my Asthma became quite ugly. Been hanging here for no good reason. I'm comfortable moving to either of these, Ann Arbor or many parts of MI, Portland, OR, Cape Coral, FL, Palm Bay, FL, Sarasota, FL, Palm Bay, FL, Daytona Beach, FL, Abilene, TX, Austin metro area and Round Rock, TX, Seattle, WA, Raleigh, NC, Colorado Springs, CO, Portland, OR, Portland, MA, Boise City, ID will make my lungs happy.
