Simmering Herbal Chips

8 ounces Wax

1/4 cup of Dried Flowers

1/2 ounce Manufacturing Fragrance Oil and/or 1 teaspoon Essential Oil

9x13x1 Aluminum Pan

A pair of Scissors

Heat wax on stove top in a bain marie method so that wax does not come in direct contact with heat. Heat wax until completely melted. Do not over heat wax. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes and add dried flowers and oil. Pour into 9x13 pan lined in aluminum foil. Let sit for a half hour or until the wax has turned completely white. Carefully remove from pan and slowly peel the aluminum foil from the wax, being sure not to tear or chip the wax. The wax should still be warm during the cutting process. Use the scissors and cut nine 1" vertical strips in the wax. Then take each 9" strip and cut 1" squares or to be fancy, cut at an angle to cut triangles. This recipe should make approximately 117 wax chips. Be creative and add your choice of fragrance, dried flowers, herbs, herbal powders, etc.

Lavender Bath Oil

Lavender essential oil balanced the mind, body and spirit. Sweet almond oil is a light, odor free oil that is readily absorbed by the skin - an excellent carrier for essential oils, it's especially well-suited to formulating bath oils

Blend:
12 drops lavender oil
1 ounce sweet almond oil

Pour oil mixture into the bath under running water. You may add up to three ounces of this balancing blend per bath.

Suggested variations: Add bubble bath along with the bath oil. The suds help disperse the oil and add some fun too. If you have a favorite scent, try using that instead of the lavender. Lavender is very calming and is great to use after a long day

This is a spa treatment from the Arizona desert. Select a large, flat smooth stone, the size of your palm Heat stone in a low temperature oven until warm but not hot. Rub some scented massage oil into the stone and use this heated rock to give your partner a soothing massage. The heat from the stone relaxes and penetrates the muscles. Use up to 15 drops of essential oil per 1 oz. of unscented (carrier) oil. Start with less drops, you can always add more. Try Sweet Almond, Grapeseed or Apricot Oil as your carrier oil.
