Lilylatina	This site for the most part is a nice site. I think there is one thing that most "sucks" about this site. Is that when free 30 day members leave this site and don't plan on paying and coming back, there ads are still up. I can look at a member and go "oh she is cool I will reply her" and then realize she has not been active in 84 days. All those members take up space and waste paying members time in a way. I suggest that A. when free members leave, the profile gets deleted, or better yet B. new members can have a lifetime membership, with a 7 day free pic period and limited abilities of course. And if they feel the need to see pics so bad, they will pay. So long as they can keep there ad up and be able to check there mail and remain active for paying members to contact. But a site like this needs members who don't pay, its more to choose from for the paying members to keep there options open. Face it not everyone is going to pay. And all those members profiles who just sit here and remain inactive is a waste of space. I know more than half the people in my state are all outdated free trail members and some of them I would like to get to know, to bad I can't cause they are not allowed back on the site. All pictures will become blurred, and logos hidden. You can enable and disable this feature at any time using the switch at the bottom of every page. If you do not want members to know you browsed their profile, go to the same page and on the far right is Profile View. Show Profile Views If you like, you can allow other members to see when you have viewed their profile. You can turn this feature On or Off. I hope this answers your concerns. Lionessa	Yes they are members, however they are not active members. In fact they havent been for a yr according to their profile. Check the side and see if there is a $ by their name. This means they are a paid and active member who has been here over 30 days usually. (yes some new members will pay right away also) You can also check a members profile and see if they are still in their 30 day trial. If there is no $ and their 30 day free trial is over (look at the member since), they will not see forum posts. If it's someone you really want to try and reach anyway, then yes, still drop them an email and if they still have notifications turned on, then they will get a notification sent to their regular off site email acct notifying them there is mail here waiting them if they rejoin. classylady1976	hi john, most people who have their profile on here get the mail notifications at their personal e-mail addy that is if they have that preference enabled on their profile. so even though they may have gone past their 30 free trial membership they would still know they have mail here although they cannot access it because they aren't a paid member. also some members do take a break for a few months...some have been gone for up a year at a time & usually come back. i'm not sure if the preset messages would still let people know they aren't going to be around for awhile once their memberships expires. i have friends in the military that may be gone for awhile but do come back after they have served their time where ever they are stationed. during that time their membership may have expired but they usually do end up returning to the site. it would be nice if there was a button on the profiles that could let you know whether that person has any intentions of returning to the site. one way to tell how long a member has been off the site is by looking at when they were last active. usually if they haven't been active for a long period of time then they are probably not going to be returning. alot of people come here just for the 30 day free trial & then leave with no intentions of returning. if someone has not been active for 30 days or more then you can usually figure out that they have been through their 30 day free trial membership & are probably not going to return. if there was a a feature to let you know when they became a member...that combined with the "last active" feature could almost give you a definite answer as to whether or not you should send them an e-mail. also...sending an e-mail is not a for sure thing as far as getting a reply from a member. the biggest complaint i hear is "i sent out e-mails but nobody replies to them". alot of people do not answer their e-mails...not even to say "no thanks....i'm not interested". and the person who is sending the e-mail must make sure that they fit into the preferences as to what the member they are writing to has in their profile. alot of members do not write back if the person sending the e-mail is not what they are looking for. it's really nice that members like you make suggestions that would not only help the members but also help the site. thanks for your suggestions. hugs & Kisses Flower pat Send Mail IM
