carol_danny	I really don't know the area down there at all. We used to have a house in Punta Gorda on the Gulf Coast, and rarely got to Miami. I know the show is being held at the Miami Convention Centre and at a couple of local marinas. We're staying in South Beach, a couple of blocks from the convention centre, and will be relying on the shuttle buses to get to the marinas. One of the evenings, we are meeting up with a big sailing crowd for a get-together, we just don't know which night yet. Other than that, we are fairly free. Carol xoxoxo Send Mail IM
ionsawmill	I think the phrase they're using right now is "social distancing." I think the thing to avoid right now is places where you'd be in contact with lots of people, but if you're in a high-risk group (older, immunocompromised, existing lung issues), keeping to yourself might be smart. I'm asthmatic, so we are staying close to home. I had a convention last weekend, and I think that just barely came in under the wire. It was a local convention, and most people drove.
