I'm an advocate of family nudity for all ages and expressions of affection within family households that are most often considered taboo by others. I'm a late bloomer with this attitude. I was raised in a somewhat conservative household where nudity among my parents and siblings wasn't in the cards. It wasn't until I was around 25 when I met an older couple in their late 30s and started hanging out with their family at their small ranch. They were a family of nudists. And I started going naked in their home along with them and their kids and even their visiting parents: grandpas and grandmas look are beautiful too. I'm in my 50s now and still love the nude life.

I am not a professional psychologist, I am not a professional social worker, I am not even a professional parent, I am single male I have no children of my own, and all I am offering is my personal opinion, and that is as long as the family leaves sex out of the equation then I see nothing wrong with it. I see this has really created an interest. I believe someone said on here that we expose our children to all kinds things not good for them, such as murdering, cruel and unusual punishments, cussing OMG! The cussing is the worst, but then we have a problem with nudity, Sometimes this worlds priorities are all out of wack. If its just family nudity we are talking about then I AM ALL IN.

I really enjoyed the nude beach at San Onofre, CA near Camp Pendleton. I admit that it appeals to both the voyeur in me and the exhibitionist. But swimming and walking nude on the beach feels awesome. And families were very comfortable all bring nude, which was interesting too. Unfortunately, people, mostly men, could not separate nudity ftom sex and there were enough complaints that nudity was banned. It was a family beach. And that was that.

Our clothing optional beach at San Onofre State Park is no more. A few years ago, nudity was banned because some people could not control themselves, and had sex on the beach, in the open, or in open tents visible to everyone including children. Others were o
parading around with erections. And one guy, very proud of his, propositioned two women right by our blanket. There was also sex in the individual changing/restrooms making them unavailable to people who needed them. The rangers had had enough complaints, and enforcing courtesy got very annoying to them. So nudity was banned. C'mon people! That's what RVs, trailers, and campers are for. I miss swimming and walkung along the beach nude. And I didn't mind seeing people having sex. Heck, like most men, I'm a voyeur and an exhibitionist. And I enjoy seeing all the family members nude. But a family beach isn't the pkace for sex. A few inconsiderate people spoiled it for everyone.

Funny . . in all the other non-puritanical countries of the world where family nudity isn't an issue, I really don't see much evidence of childhood insanity or warped sense of values . . only here, in this country founded by fanatics whose beliefs were so extreme that they were thrown out of England at the onset of winter - essentially a death sentence - do we express HORROR at a naked human body . .

Some of you people really should consider re-evaluatingyour priorities . .

We have was believed that nudity is both healthy to the body and healthy to the mind. It reduces the stigma that viewing the nude human body is dirty rather than beautiful. We came into this world naked and shouldn't be restricted by the little minds of the few that have imposed their views on so many. We believe by reducing the erotic element of nudity that we also reduce sexual assault ( this may or may not be true as there been no research) but do believe it provides for a healthy mind. Our children have been raised in the lifestyle and their children are being raised in it too. We would love to hear your comments and views!
