How to Describe Your Self Bisexual

How to Describe Your Self Bisexual on Bisexual PlaygroundHow to Describe Your Self Bisexual on Bisexual Playground
I am a 62 y/0 married bisexual man. My wife knows I am bisexual. i am looking for a man who would describe himself as the active partner. I am very versatile sexually.
So how does one describe oneself? I really don't know if I want to describe myself. I am just me- that's it. Take me for what I am or not. I tend to be gruff and direct, but I am shy and reserved. I guess once you get to know me, you will see that shy and reserved are not words you might use to describe me.
26yo bisexual male. I don't know and I don't like to describe myself. Ask what you want to know ;)
The best way to describe me is open to anything, especially with bi couples!39 yr old bisexual Male
Nothing to describe yet,Im a bisexual man just looking to meet people and see what this site is about.
31 year old bisexual female. Words will not describe me.
It's nice to see rreasonable & supportive comments from the women--But i can't help noticing that most are already in a relationship! I guess that changes the perspective somewhat. Most of the women I talk to who describe themselves as bisexual are also in their early or mid 20s. I think for some, they're having gender issues of their own, possibly unable to acccept that they might be gay, nor bi. For others, i guess there's a more conservative mindset amongst kids today, so they're less accepting--nem only macho, girls sexy. And for a few, I think there might be a power issue--that bisexual men are intruding onto their sphere of influence, or taking themselves out of it.
I am sort of falling back into a 5 point scale and have grown to agree there is no such thing as a "bisexual" as a stand alone 3 category along with "straight or gay". Here is my reasoning.

1 you are straight, 2 you are straight but have or do enjoy sex with the same sex, 3 you are straight or gay and enjoy sex with same sex, 4 you are gay and enjoy sex with the opposite sex, 5 you are gay.

Three of the 5 categories can be considered bisexual, if only for the want of a "name" to describe your activities...I don't know how common 3 is, being someone who enjoys and practices sex with approximate equal numbers...but I do know they are precious.

Two and Four are what we seen to encounter as bisexual or bi curious. Perhaps the curious is, can I do it again ? I don't really know. I do know that I was married for over 50 years, loved sex with my wife, and over the course of my life some 60 other women. BUT, I also had a male lover for 30 years and equally enjoyed sexual relations with him, and about 45 other men.

Using my logic I would say I a #2, straight with bi tendencies.

This at least makes sense to me and I hope others....and has nothing to do with how many times you do it...but how you envision yourself.
metrosexual is used mainly in a physical masculine sense, to describe physical appearances and grooming habits. Hetroflexible is strictly used to describe someone who will have bi/gay sex but is no way attracted emotionally to the same sex. this label is used extensively on another site i'm on, and i truly feel this is the label i like if i have to be labeled at all.
ok...Here is my reply to most.....My profile says Bisexual and looking for females or couples ....Here is why..... I am truly a bisexual....I don't want to be with a man alone....9 out of 10 emails I get are from guys who claim they are bi, but I believe they are gay. Again, if I am going to have a bisexual experience I want it to be truly bisexual. I live in NY and I can have 25 gay experiences a night, that's not what I want....
IMO, as long as a person/people are not deceitful and/or misleading, anyone should be able to feel free to describe themselves in any way that they want.

Categorizations, from my experience, are not what this site has been about and shouldn't be.

If we were to go down that road, we'd also have to begin to talk about the "definition" of bisexual, which is a much broader issue and one that there will likely never be a consensus on.

As far as I am concerned....cool respectful and open minded is good enough for me. Bans should be reserved for liars and jerks. Not anyones self description.
I'm willing to bet that all of us have been told that it's not so much what you say, but how you say it. There are coarse and polite ways to express most things. The words cunt and pussy can be used to describe the same anatomy, but the tone is completely different. Using shemale is obviously nasty, but I have to say that saying transsexual sounds kind of scientific and isn't very specific. Moving from male to female is not the same as female to male, so using the same word doesn't feel right. Maybe another forum subject could be devoted to finding the right was to describe a person transitioning from male to female.
