I think this is a good discussion and like most issues dealing with emotion can be polarizing. I can't believe ignoring to say this- but with age & life experiences comes wisdom. My hope would be that, as many of you have noted, committed partners have open communication. If that doesn't feel possible - seek out a professional who can guide and facilitate the communication.

I wonder if it might be helpful to have the option of listing- In committed relationship- with additional options: I.e - play alone, - exploring, - not out as bisexual/curious , ??

For me and my husband of 23 yrs, we have played with another woman. I enjoyed her as a friend and lover. But love my husband. He found it to difficult to separate enjoying our mff and not feeling like he was 'in love'. We value our marriage and life together and 'cheating' is not on my agenda. He gave me permission to explore my bisexuality without fear or judgement. I will openly share with any prospective in person encounter our story.:)

Again, thanks for all the words of encourgagement. Really appreciate them more than you know. I am flying up to the see the wife again this weekend, and hopefully we can get frisky with the toys and see where it goes. Hi everyone! This is my first post and my first time joining a site of this type. After reading some posts, you seemed like a nice bunch of REAL people so here's my dilemma...

When my husband and I were first married/dating, we discussed various sexual fantasies...one of his being that we bring another woman into the bedroom. I was/am not outright against this, but I know myself and I don't know if emotionally this is something I could handle. I have always been bi-curious but never really had the occasion to do any experimentation. I have only once in my life been in a threesome, but it was with two males and, while I loved it, my curiosity about other women has yet to be satisfied.

Long story short, we kind of beat the death out of the fantasy by talking about it too much and now he says he's not interested. However, the more days that go by, the more curious I become about a female/female encounter. My issue is, while I want to try to explore my curiosity, I don't think I'm ready to have the hubby "join in". I have mentioned my "looking for a girlfriend" to him, but he thinks I'm kidding.

I don't know what to do..and if I did get myself settled to explore this area of life...how do I go about it without feeling like I'm cheating on my husband...even though I'd have his "permission" ? I guess my big hang up is, knowing he has/had this fantasy, I feel it's unfair of me to pursue this knowing that I am 90% sure I won't want him to eventually join in.
