I firmly believe that children should learn about the human body, male and female at a rate decided by the parents, not by unprovoked exposure of nude minded people that choose to frolic naked in city parks, beaches, etc. I do however, also feel that public
places, parks, beaches etc, should have some set aside for nudity optional visitors. If you have kids and do not want them to see naked people, don't take them to that beach or park. Nudity is legal in my State, Washington, anytime anywhere, but there is a catch 22, only if you do not offend anyone and what are the odds of that? So the law is useless except in Eastern Wa, in the potholes national park. Miles and miles of nothing but sage, rocks, gorges and lakes. I have spent a lot of time there hiking nude and have never seen any display of offensiveness from anyone I encountered. I think they thought they had accidentally come across a nudist colony and only wished they had the guts to try it. I carry a towel with me in case I encounter children, but never cover up for
adults. We need more public, "clothes optional; areas." In British Columbia it is legal to sun bath nude anywhere you like as long as you do not move around from place to
place. Right in your front yard, or in the grassy area in front of the mall, as long as you stay in your area. IO have actually seen people lying on or sitting on blankets in that strip of grass between the street and the side walk. Seriously and no one even seemed to notice.

I just heard on the news that the US Parks dept. for Fire Island will enforce the No Nude beach State Law for all of Fire Island.
Does this mean that Gunnison will get crazy busy? Will they do the same for Gunnison?
