Love outdoor nudity. The sun and fresh air on my body. Our little cabin home is private enough for moonbathing. And making love on our soft forest floor. And there are a couple of safe areas for nudity, but not so much hiking.

From a parent of young children, I don't believe I would want a law like that passed in my town, even if for a day. I don't feel anyone should be ashamed of their body or nudity. I don't teach my kids that sex is bad or that nudity is bad, however, I feel there is a time and place for it. Kids are starting to have sex at a younger age every day. For me, if my children were to see that nudity at a young age in public, it would make me worry that they think it's acceptable anytime, anywhere. How do you explain to a 4 or 5 year old what a penis or vagina is and what they are for? Then if you are an honest parent and go into the sex talk and letting them know it is natural, it is what God intended it for, and that it feels good, they are going to want to try it as soon as they get the chance. With all the STD's and teen pregnancy going on, I don't want my children in that situation any sooner than they have to be. Nudity is great, but I personally feel there is a time and a place for it, and out in the public for everyone, including children to see it, is not the place for it. As far as nude beaches or colonies, that's great, but it's in a private area for adults only. There is my .02 cents worth.

My cabin in the mountains was akways my nude refuge. The clorhes canr off as soon ad i got here. Except in Winter when I'd build a fire. Now remarried and living here with my wife and stepdaughter, nudity is reserved for when the kid is up in the loft aslerp or visiting friends. She knows to call down before she comes downstairs in the morning so i csn cover up. Partial or near nudity (underwear only) is fine at othwr times, as it was with my grown stepdaughter and me after my wife died. She and i would tskr trips to Vegas and other places. Always shared a room. Nudism is natural and healthy. But there IS an inescapable sexual component to it. Nude beaches appeal to the voyeur and exhibitionist in me. And nudity at home still feels a little delightfully naughty.

I am not a professional psychologist, I am not a professional social worker, I am not even a professional parent, I am single male I have no children of my own, and all I am offering is my personal opinion, and that is as long as the family leaves sex out of the equation then I see nothing wrong with it. I see this has really created an interest. I believe someone said on here that we expose our children to all kinds things not good for them, such as murdering, cruel and unusual punishments, cussing OMG! The cussing is the worst, but then we have a problem with nudity, Sometimes this worlds priorities are all out of wack. If its just family nudity we are talking about then I AM ALL IN.

We have was believed that nudity is both healthy to the body and healthy to the mind. It reduces the stigma that viewing the nude human body is dirty rather than beautiful. We came into this world naked and shouldn't be restricted by the little minds of the few that have imposed their views on so many. We believe by reducing the erotic element of nudity that we also reduce sexual assault ( this may or may not be true as there been no research) but do believe it provides for a healthy mind.
