I've gone through several scenerios already in my experience, and since at the time I was in a couple, the situation that worked best for me there was a situation or meeting of some type where the male partner signified in some way, especially any very overt way that he was interested in me, and then explained that the female partner was also a part of the anticipated and sought liason. This has most often happened atfter becomeing at least casuall6y acquainted with one or the other partners. Probably the best situation is a quite drink somewhere in a public, but not too public place. But the scenarios are variable.
