What type of notification are you looking for? I doubt it's the site. You may have to adjust some settings. I suggest emailing the webbies if you really want help with it or emailing one of the moderators, myself or Mortiser and we can try and walk you through them.

FYI BP does not have a spam folder because it does not allow advertising or spam sent on the site. If a member ever gets any, please notify the webbies or a mod immediately so it can be stopped.

Just because one gets emails from members does not mean you will get notifications. You have to have each one turned on. Do you want to know if someone posts to a post you made? What about a comment on pictures?

If one is using a phone since there is no app yet for BP you will not get notifications on your phone.

I get the notifications that you are speaking of. BUT, I must admit, that isn't perfect. I usually get them but NOT always. There must be a slight hiccup in the system on the email notifications to your EXTERNAL mail. My suggestion is to just try to log in from time to time to check the status of any emails. Just MY opinion.

You have to set that up so it notifies you. It does not happen automatically.

Do this:

Go to the top of the page and click on the following icon

TOOLS

Then go to Manager and click

You will see a page of settings you can change

You have two choices for your off site email. notification and discreet mail notification. Just decide which one you want and click yes. Then it will work. Remember, it will only send you one notification per hour so you do not get inundated by mail.

The notification system will only send one email an hour. If you get 10 emails in one hour, you will only get one notification per hour.

Crisg71. I sent you a private email, and explained it here as well. Rather than going on about your problem with notifications if that does not work, you may want to do what should be done and that is notify the webmasters.

Only the Webbies can work on the Website. They are the ones with the know how and ability to look into why yours may not be working yet Frank's does.
