if you've never been to a professional drag race, your missing out. unlike nascar, everybody gets a pit pass. you are so close to all the action, you actually feel like your part of the team. top fuel cars put out 8000 horsepower. now put two side by side on the 1/4 mile then feel the earth move under your feet, and thats just on the burnout. and the noise and smell, at least to me, make me horny. plus there are alot of new friends you can meet to play with:). if you see the ads on tv for a national event for nhra or ihra, GO! you won't be disappointed. next year i will be out touring, so if your out at a pro event, look for HOLLYWOOD RULES MOTORSPORTS and ask for rick. see ya at the drags.

I had a drag car in the 70's....a 67 GTO that ran 11.85 @ 112.37 MPH. I still have the car....and was building racing engines for years. I only build Pontiacs now...but did Buicks as well...
