Thanks cillywilly i can do that .... but my point is that its somewhat misleading when your new to see all these profiles then to realize later that none of them have been active in years. For example, after looking at Florida and sorting by distance ... after 23 pages of members less then 10 have been active in the last 30 days. I'm not complaining was simply offering a suggestion to clean up the inactive accounts so that only those active on the site come up in the search. Its a pain to search 30 or 40 pages of members to find the ones that have been active ....

I think if a member is not active anymore maybe the site can denote the member name with an asterisk in parentheses so active members would know they aren’t currently active

Since many times old members do come back not all posts get deleted. Like cuties suggested it is always best to check and see if the member who made the post is even an active member on the site. (Remember trial members only have 30 days)

If they are not active and you find yourself still interested, don't post, they won't see it unless they become paid members. Send them a personal email instead.

While unpaid members cannot see emails, many members have set yes for email notifications. This means if someone sends them an email on the website here, they get sent an email else where telling them they have email here.

Who knows? I have seen it happen where someone sent an email to a non active member and that non active member ended up becoming a paid member because they actually got Mail and made a connection.

Remember also, many members who are lifetime as well, come and go... so may not always be active at that moment, so do check active times on profile tso you see, it is important to check the last active info on the members profile.

How would you know anyway if that pic that flashed for a cpl of sec was an active member or not? You have to come onto the site to find out or see if the person is active anyway.

If someone wants to find active members with pics whatever, whats to stop someone from doing a search? This can narrow down a list to only active members, members in a certain area, within so many mi, etc

I will remove all my pictures before I allow them to be seen to total strangers and anyone perving the net.

Agree that finding out that someone is no longer active is a bummer. I filter that out by setting the "Active in the last X days" feature in Search, and then just look for folks who have been recently active. I've also learned that you need to pay attention to whether or not someone is a paying member as with the non-paying members I kept running into noticing that they never came back on to even get an email.
