I think a DSL line may help. We had DSL before we switched to cable and you were able to be online and use your phone too. Only thing is you need to be fairly close to what they call a "central office" to get DSL from what I remember. Call your local phone company that provides your local phone service to see if this is an option for you. Hope this helps!

I always talk on the phone first, to get a "feel" for the person, and ask questions related to previous on line emails/chats etc. and ALWAYS have he/she call me on the phone within a 1/2 hour or so before meeting, that way at least their is a phone trace (yes even if they have call blocking).
