Hi all. I would like to suggest adding “pansexual” to the profile orientation menu. This term describes one who seeks a connection (intellectual, inner-connection, overall attraction to one’s personality) with a person of either gender. Physical attraction is not as important to us….there must be a genuine connection first. 😊 Just a suggestion.

 Wow. Great subject. I have to agree with Steve's definitions. The emotional side of swinging is a big part of it. Being able to seperate your relationship with a partner from a roll in the hay is a must if the relationship is to last.
Can a single be a swinger? Again Steve did a very good job defining that. I would add that MANY singles have been in a long term relationship at one time or another and did some swinging then. Once a swinger, always a swinger! Just my opinion, and you know what they say about them.....................camel 0

that would be great if there was a way to know if a person was bi or a swinger however i dont know if i want to shake hands with every person i see ...and like they say it takes one to know one ;)there are signs if you look that someone may be a swinger or bi :)

Specifically:
1. There are lots of different definitions out there, so let's hear yours. What is your definition of a Swinger?

If you are in a relationship, and ONLY ONE of you is being romantic or sexual with other people outside the relationship, does that classify that mate as a swinger or would it classify them as a cheater or something else? Does that depend if the uninvolved mate knows or does NOT know about the outside partners, or supports his/her sexual mate in being involved with the outside partners?

3. Can a single person be a Swinger? If so, how? Would the single be a swinger, if the single person is involved with a swinging couple? Is a single person considered a swinger if they are involved in multiple sexual acts or relationships with other single people (not couples) or would that just be considered dating/playing the field?
