What happened to all the swingers from the 70's. I think they are still out there, still interested, but may have given up in the face of "youth".
I have read of the senior citizen sex revolution in the FL and AZ senior communities, but see no evidence of it here.

We are a mixture of both poly and bi communities, so it would be difficult for us as a couple not to be out in both communities. I have found that poly-people whether they are bi, straight, or gay, seem to gravitate to other polys that would compliment their sexuality.
I may be getting too deep in my thoughts, but I wanted you to know that there are more here looking for long term relationships than you may realize, and the Polyamorous Community seems to be growing. It isn't a surprise that it is so well represented here on the Playground.

People are wary of married men swinging alone. Plus, you've only been on the site a few months. Give it time, tailor your profile, and get to know the site. Lucky for you, swingers skew older, so you're looking for the right demographic. Also, IIHO older men are less likely to be hung up on labels, and more likely to just enjoy sex with most anyone who isn't insane.

Yes, we know that this is one of the better sites online. We agree with that completely. That's why we are still here.

But, we are a bit more social, or maybe just old fashioned, it seems than some others, and would actually like to get out and mingle with people that we can actually see, hear, smell, touch... Radical concept, leaving one's house... LOL We are looking to get out and about in the real world.

If no one has any information, that's fine and understandable. People have begun to live their lives from within the confines of their houses and actual communities are beginning to be replaced with virtual communities. That is good for some people that are great chatters, lurkers and those that can't get out readily.

It’s rare that I find someone who is more than ten years older or twenty years younger than me who has the same interests that I do. The exception is music. I listen to a lot of current music, so me and an 18 year old could probably talk about bands we like. People my age and older (even the swingers, oddly enough) tend to be way more conservative than I am, especially the closeted ones. It’s hard to hang a friendship on one or two common interests.

I attended a bi swingers party in San Francisco in 94 shortly before I moved back to TX. I'd been to regular swingers clubs before, but this was a whole new experience. It was in a house with the party outside & in the basement. Hot tub & several rooms to play in. Safe sex all round with swings, pillows, mattresses, & more. Everyone was really friendly & respectful. I also attended an SMBD swingers club in SF that was an actual buisness. Paid admission & cash bar. Several rooms with the obligatory Mistress inflicting pain on her subjects. Bondage gear in every room. People weren't as friendly. Actually kind of creepy.
