Lionessa	I agree a sign would be nice, however it still wouldnt solve the issue the original post refers to. A sign also would be lost in scroll so people who just come in wouldnt see it anyway. The idea is some way a member can tell if someone enters chat, or if someone starts chatting, if they arent looking at the chat screen. Every time I get an IM from this site (and my sound is turned on) I just remembered I hear this voice tell me I have an instant message, and when the person I am chatting with closes out it says something to the extent of Instant message closed.
