Though I'm well-known in several Bi communities, I've still yet to make a Bi Connection with my kinfolk. Yup, I'm an out bisexual who has never made it with another out bisexual person. My bi cherry is soooooo intact. *smile* I was born and raised in Philadelphia, although I've lived elsewhere (San Francisco, Zurich, New York) for extended periods of time. I have been active in the Bi communities of all those cities except Zurich. I love talking to others about their experiences abroad, especially in Europe. I am very much an advocate of international and intercultural sharing, I make a special effort to make and keep in touch with friends from different countries and backgrounds, and I love to learn new languages (Sprechen Sie Deutsch?) and customs. My passions include music (Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Jamiroquai, John Legend); dancing; prose writing; NPR; reading actual, bound books; and science fiction (Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica rule! -- Star Wars changed my life but The Phantom Menace did not.) Oh yeah, I'm absolutely obsessed with (playing, watching, reading about) tennis -- hence my username -- but if you didn't catch me at the tennis court you might not guess that at all...

We are a mixture of both poly and bi communities, so it would be difficult for us as a couple not to be out in both communities. I have found that poly-people whether they are bi, straight, or gay, seem to gravitate to other polys that would compliment their sexuality.
I may be getting too deep in my thoughts, but I wanted you to know that there are more here looking for long term relationships than you may realize, and the Polyamorous Community seems to be growing. It isn't a surprise that it is so well represented here on the Playground.

Yes, we know that this is one of the better sites online. We agree with that completely. That's why we are still here.

But, we are a bit more social, or maybe just old fashioned, it seems than some others, and would actually like to get out and mingle with people that we can actually see, hear, smell, touch... Radical concept, leaving one's house... LOL We are looking to get out and about in the real world.

If no one has any information, that's fine and understandable. People have begun to live their lives from within the confines of their houses and actual communities are beginning to be replaced with virtual communities. That is good for some people that are great chatters, lurkers and those that can't get out readily.

Maybe we wish we didn’t have to but some of us have so much to loose that we’ve worked our whole lives for that we just can’t risk it !
