Agreed with @bi2usi - first figure out her thoughts on bisexuality in general first. If ok / open / supportive, then ask further about her, or offer up about yourself. Bisexuality is a broad spectrum (of course), and many may identify as bi but also monogamous.

The South Bay Organizers and Activists (SOBOA) has a wonderful pamphlet entitled "Responsible Non-Monogamy: A Brief Introduction to Polyamory" that is a nice summary. You can find it on the web. Also, The Bisexual Resource Center in Boston had some wonderful information about polyamory along with bisexuality. Their website was recently hacked, but they should have a new one up very soon.

I have been receiving responses to a message I sent to one member. Apparently this message went to more members that I had intended. I have asked the web master to check into my problem. I have sent multiple messages to three different help sites. No response after four days. My concern is that I was hacked, and information is compromised. Maybe your information. Do you want your photos and information in the public domain. I don't. I would like the web master to give me an answer.

In all the time I have been here..just celebrated my 5th anniversary here March 20th yayyy me..none of my e-mails have been edited in any way..to be honest a few i wish could have been edited..hehe It is in the public sections that you do not see the addys for sites etc because that is something better left for private..and also there is the tried but true rule of not giving out any personal information in a public forum such as chat ect..that is for the individual members protection. I for one would not want my e-mail addy and other private information floating out there for anyone to see..it should be up to each individual on the site as to whom should have what information they choose..

Anyway that's my two cents..I love to share sites and information with other people but in the end I also feel the need to protect mine and other members personal information is very important..and it is still something of a quandary as to how to separate the two from time to time...great question btw Nic! I'm honest to most people about my bisexuality; however, my stepmother and my grandmother are rather old-fashioned and bigoted toward homosexuality and the like. Should I remain :in the closet" to them? Or should I be open and honest about my bisexuality to them?Hug

Bisexuality is the most open ended sexual orientation, allowing the most kinds of sex and the largest selection of people to be involved with. It is not unusual at all and nothing to be ashamed of. I am bisexual and proud of it. It IS who and what I am and its not going to change. Bisexuality is fun and allows you to be yourself and be with people for the right reasons. Imagine a guy or gal interested and in love with someone of the same gender and not able to be with them because they have to be "straight". Bisexuality gets rid of that issues and the ones of thinking that you can't do something sexual that you are curious about because of your sexuality. That's what bisexuality is- it's FREEDOM.
