I was under the assumption that Hedo was very bi female friendly but not bi male friendly.

Ok, so I'm a newbie here so don't strip and hang me if I'm posting this outside of forum etiquette. I looked and looked for a forum or thread discussing travel locations or recommendations.....sooooo, now here I am asking for your help and recommendations?!

I want to plan a trip for the Mr. birthday in January. I've heard much about Hedo - but is that THE place to go? I mean, for all types of people looking to spend a week forgetting about everything and trying everything? If not, what place is better? If you've been to Hedo and can do a real review....go for it. If you've been to some place outstanding, feel free to give 'em their 15 minutes of fame....we'll consider most anything at this point.

I know this isn't a tremendously active site / forum, but I'm wondering if anyone out there attends any of the lifestyle resorts with a pre-established group... If so, where do you go and when?

Until about two years ago, we owned and operated an event planning and travel firm, and one of our more enjoyable undertakings was to lead a group (at the time of 40-60 couples) to Desire Riviera Maya, Hedo 3 (which is now gone), Desire Los Cabos (which was gone and has now been replaced), and Hedo 2.

We're NOT interested in leading groups any longer, and this isn't a solicitation to start a group... (not an arrogance thing, but we can't go back with our group and enjoy the time, it becomes 'shop talk' week, and we just wanna be 'attendees' for once. (and going to any of these - or the newer ones that have popped up in the past 2 years when a group is not in house is VERY hit or miss).

So... having said that - anyone go with a group? What group / when / why?
