The irony was that BP was a link from a Swinger site where I found that the men who professed str8 were actually looking to engage in bi activity with other males without their women knowing. I am guilty of changing my orientation from Bi to Str8 on that Swinger site after receiving way too many emails from these guys. Here at BP I was able to state Bisexual without feeling out of place. Meet and greets can really be a good way to see folks in the real world vs the cyber world which can give you a better sense for the person. Emails, chatrooms and the like are fine up to a point then possibly a phone chat to get a better flavor for others is good as well which just might lead up to an actual face to face meet with NO EXPECTATIONS for anything sexual. Lionessa | First you may want to post in your state forums and let others in your area know what you are looking for. You never know....many members travel and check the state forums. If there is no one in your area, maybe someone traveling might like to meet. I always say, one can never have too many friends ;) You have a few blank n/a in your profile that could still be answered. If a member has a complete profile they get the super profile ribbon. There are some members who will not even look at a profile if it does not have that super profile ribbon. (It shows that person took time enough to care, feel about their profile and hopefully they will extend that care / feelings when meeting someone) Come in chat and get to know others. Soooo many times I have been in chat and seen someone enter saying they only came in because they saw so and so and have been wanting to chat with that person or just noticed they are close by etc. I have been a BP member for going on 8 yrs now. I have met so many people on here and in real life from here I lost count. I still to this day treasure each and every encounter.(well ok well maybe there is a couple...anyway) The people to meet are here.every day is a new day and what worked one day may not work another. I won't touch the scared and shy comments but one has to read profiles all the time. ..especially down on the lower right where it states last active, new member, etc. A lot of people join thinking wow a free site trial for 30 days. Then they realize they only have pics for a part of that free trial. After those 7 days they usually end up leaving. You need to check and see if those people you emailed were all newbies. That may explain why you have not heard from them again. OliviaBellz made some wonderful suggestions. Just have to remember it takes time and one has to be willing to put themselves out there. Trial members, remember this point. Some of us long time members have full time jobs and other obligations and we might not be able to answer personal chat request at the time you want.
