We should also teach them about responsibility and consequences of being reckless with sex. I am not saying anyone should sexualize children. Absolutely not, but sex, nudity, intimacy, and the human body are not shameful, dirty, things. People of all shapes and sizes are beautiful.<br /> <br /> I think there are groups of people that are titalated by sex because it is "naughty". So they treat nudity and sex as if they are dirty little secrets to keep hidden so it remains adventurous for them. But in reality...a penis is an appendage like a finger or arm or toe. WildcatsInMo	From a parent of young children, I don't believe I would want a law like that passed in my town, even if for a day. I don't feel anyone should be ashamed of their body or nudity. I don't teach my kids that sex is bad or that nudity is bad, however, I feel there is a time and place for it. Kids are starting to have sex at a younger age every day. For me, if my children were to see that nudity at a young age in public, it would make me worry that they think it's acceptable anytime, anywhere. How do you explain to a 4 or 5 year old what a penis or vagina is and what they are for? Then if you are an honest parent and go into the sex talk and letting them know it is natural, it is what God intended it for, and that it feels good, they are going to want to try it as soon as they get the chance. With all the STD's and teen pregnancy going on, I don't want my children in that situation any sooner than they have to be. Nudity is great, but I personally feel there is a time and a place for it, and out in the public for everyone, including children to see it, is not the place for it. As far as nude beaches or colonies, that's great, but it's in a private area for adults only. There is my .02 cents worth. Send Mail IM
