My passions include music (Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Jamiroquai, John Legend); dancing; prose writing; NPR; reading actual, bound books; and science fiction (Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica rule! -- Star Wars changed my life but The Phantom Menace did not.) I have found that poly-people whether they are bi, straight, or gay, seem to gravitate to other polys that would compliment their sexuality. Just_Having_Fun	Yes, we know that this is one of the better sites online. We agree with that completely. That's why we are still here. But, we are a bit more social, or maybe just old fashioned, it seems than some others, and would actually like to get out and mingle with people that we can actually see, hear, smell, touch... Radical concept, leaving one's house... LOL We are looking to get out and about in the real world. If no one has any information, that's fine and understandable. People have begun to live their lives from within the confines of their houses and actual communities are beginning to be replaced with virtual communities. When research does focus on bisexual+ communities specifically, they regularly find that bisexual+ people experience higher rates of depression, suicidality, interpersonal violence, and other physical and mental health disparities compared to their homosexual and heterosexual peers. The bisexual+ community receives little funding, services, and resources to address these disparities. According to the Funders for LGBT Issues 2018 report, out of nearly $200 million of funding for LGBT organizations, less than 1% went to bisexual+ interests, the majority of which was from one funder that devoted it to academic research, not to bisexual+ organizations serving the community. In response to these ongoing disparities, Bisexual+ Health Awareness Month works to raise awareness about bisexual+ community health and pushes for more action and resources to support bisexual+ wellbeing. Cureus_male	It’s certainly a struggle. I’ve seen ‘straight’ guys who “don’t like labels” looking for a hookup, as well as guys looking at this as a way to get to the wife like BiDic mentioned. I also see a lot of nsa hookup culture going on, which brings with it a lot of baggage from unreal profile prompts. I really wish there were better communities available for bisexual’s. This is a reasonable site, but let’s face it - profiles get stale, haven’t been visited in years, and seems like a hobby for many that need some spank bank materials.
