I would understand the concern about time and layouts if this was a free site, but this isn't a free site. I would think the money spent would help with all of the work involved with starting a poll/polls...Yes there are trial members here also, so to keep them from viewing the polls, as they haven't paid for the time and effort thats involved...I'm sure there's a way to only let paid members view the polls....

I'm sorry I have to disagree. Can you just see 1,000 plus polls all of a sudden showing up? They would have to be previewed first, maintained on a daily basis etc.Oh not to mention space for all of them.

Maybe a suggestion box for the webbies where members can suggest polls and then the webbies at their discretion could put up a poll or two every so often if they chose

I wish we had a Forum for just Member Polls.

They end up in general or anywhere but one for that matter and get lost right away in the mix or there are so darn many, I lose any interest in browsing the category posts. It would also make the ability to see if that same type post was just made say a few times in the past week so maybe they should wait. It would also make it easier for members to see if there are any polls they have an interest in so they can actually follow the poll to keep up with results.

We already have polls on the site and it's been a long time since people have looked into them. I agree with Nessa, it'd take alot of maintenance and tracking to keep on top of the amounts of polls that would come in. It's not as simple as saying that this poll is gonna go up and this one isn't. It takes time to put together the layouts, the text, well everything to put one up on a site, long off determining out of the vast numbers of suggestions as to which will go up.
