We want to delete our profile, but the site administrators make it really hard or imposible to do. We are not interested in this site but it won't let us delete anything even the pics we should never have uploaded to it.

When we review photos we try to make sure the person in the photo is on the profile. Was it a photo of you in a catwoman suit or was it somebody else in a catwoman suit? The rules for photos are posted right on the upload form. One of the most important rules when it comes to photos is that you have to be in them. We discourage (delete) photos of cartoons, movies, objects, pets, and people other than the people on the profile. Hope this helps!

forum posts also have to be reviewed before showing, much the same as pics do. They are checked to make sure links arent included, that its not a personal attack against an individual or group, etc. Even if there were an alert later..... alot could happen before it gets noticed, and damage may well be done that cant be reversed. Especially if it is inflammatory against another member etc.

By having the photo browse feature you dont have to take up room in your photo space for a pic that you may not want to keep there. If you attach one from your profile... and say delete it from your photo manager tomorrow..... the pic in the post also goes *poof*..... if you use the photo browse it remains seperate from your profile pics.

If you are editing your photo albums now, there is a delete album icon. However ....... all this does is remove the album. The pictures are still there in your photo manager and have to be deleted one at a time ugh :(

In this forum as on many others, we offer a feature to edit your forum posts. To the end of deleting a post made, simply edit the body of your message, and replace it with something like 'Delete this post', and we will remove it. I am not a fan of giving people the ability to delete other peoples' messages, even if they are responses to a post one wants removed. The originator of a topic doesn't 'own' the topic and has no right to delete responses to the topic. I agree that old topics (which haven't been replied to in a long time) should be archived, but still accessible. These points will be taken under consideration for future improvements to the forum.

When you're in the photo manager and you click on a specific photo, on the right side it has options, Click "ACTIONS" under that you'll see "delete photo".

I think more space is taken up by people complaining about the old posts, ironically.

We've had this site up since `02. We have never deleted a forum post due to age, and at this rate, we won't have to for a good 60 years or so. These little blobs of text don't take up much space. Here's a shocking number... More space is taken up by the mail sent on this site between members in 10 days than 2 years of forum posts. And consequently, we delete mail older than 90 days. My point being, if there were a need to delete old posts, then we would delete them.
