If you see a $ sign by their name it means they are paid and chances of them seeing your post are high. If you look at the profile summary and look toward the bottom on the right hand side you will see member stats. You can tell there if the member is even active. IE a new trial member who has 30 days only free site access. If you can find the article there is one on profiles and explains better how to read them.
