carol_danny	uncut, for some of us (or many of us) this is the first time we have seen this topic, and we would like to put in our comments. Message boards are like that, they have cyclic topics. What was old becomes new again as new people join the site. Give it 6 months, and you'll probably see the exact same topic again ;) I agree with need2, if you have seen the same topic and you are tired of it, just ignore it. freewolf	I think I know waht Joe is looking for. I mentioned it in my profile under section 10 myself. LOL A lot bbs/forums/message boards (what ever you want to call them) sort threads within a catagory by last replied to rather then by the date of the original post. Some people seach through old topics and reply to them. The way BPs forums are set up you may have to go through several pages of threads includeing ones no one has recently replied to, to find something someone has. Mind you the side bar on the forums helps a lot but if you miss a few days or even a few hours sometimes... You still miss or have to search through a lot junk to find current threads. Id tell you just to use YaBB or PHPBBS as they are my favorite free message board tools but I know that everything on this site is intagrated so it may be hard. Also it would mean redoing the boards from scratch and losing all the old posts. However peeking at the code could help you find what you need to add the feature to this one. :) ~Jim Send Mail IM

darklillith	Depends on the school board, Erin - Catholic school boards have a morals clause. You know that going in to the job and you either accept the conditions or work for a provincial board. I'm not fan of the Catholic church but they have their rights as well and the morals clause is important to them. With that said - I don't think what a teacher does in their personal life has any bearing on their ability. I know plenty of "vanilla" straight teachers who are the last people I would want teaching my kids. In the end? If this is a Catholic school board? Its their loss - barring good teachers based on what they do behind closed doors, between consenting adults is a pretty shabby way to choose an educator. To the Americans on this bit of the forum? In Canada - there are Catholic and non-denominational boards. Some provinces, like Quebec - (theoretically) have non-denominational boards but do have private religious based schooling. Don't know about the American education system. Again, in most provinces - teachers have to abide by the religious boards' rules of conduct which includes - no single moms (women who have kids but have never been married) - no homosexual behaviours, etc. etc. Teachers have a choice to make - they either abide by the signed rules of conduct or work for a non-denominational board without such restrictions on their personal lives. Freedom has to work both ways. For the boards and for the teachers. Send Mail IM
