My wife and I have been to every gay bar and a couple of lesbian bars in our city. Never had a bad experience. I've even been to the bathroom by myself, and had guys walk in. They did their business and didn't bother me at all.

Only strange thing that ever happened was at one club, a female acquaintance of ours walk into the men's room and start adjusting her makeup at the sink. She said the line for the ladies' was too long, and she just needed to freshen up her lipstick. Once I got to know her better, I realized she would have done this at any club, not just a gay club.

Go and try it out. You won't be sorry. Just don't let them convince you to do Jager shots, or as my wife's gay friend calls them, "Gay Kool-aid".

I would like to start an area social club. A club consisting of BP members. The purpose of the club would be simply to get together and meet other like minded area members.
Meetings could be held on any agreed to schedule. IE once a wk, month,quarter, etc. to plan events for ourselves , Such as card games, Pool games, Bowling, Hiking,Camping, and so on. Hanging out with others you could totally be yourself with. Like minded fun loving folks. Any takers drop me an email and we can start to get things rolling ASAP .My thinking, that the first requirement for the club is a person being a paid member. Then we could invite others we meet here to our local events Like. Meet and Greets or perhaps something more imaginable, like that. :-P
