You may find more success on a site that allows listing of local events. Look for things like a Meet & Greet. They are set up for the purpose of having members meet other local members socially. nextdoorcp, I, and I'm sure other locals, would be very interested in something like that. I would hope it would bring out some locals. It would be great to go and meet people that are local for friendship and fun. It seems that local members are reluctant to meet face to face (in my own experience, not saying this happens to everyone), and maybe a party would be a nice, safe place for all to meet.
