Skyguy, thanks for your reply. Sorry it has taken so long to respond. I am very interested in getting together with you for some nude fun and whatever. Pirates Cove is the local nude beach in Avila Beach area. Also, Sycamore Hot Springs is on the road to Avila Beach and features numerous private outdoor hot tubs built into the hillside.

the only clothing optional anything i know of on the central coast (besides my house lol) is pirates cove beach . it`s between shell and avila . good luck and happy naked day

If anybody wants any info on the Outer Banks I can help with plans. Like climbing Jockeys Ridge a.k.a. the big sand dune it's in Nags Head. Kill Devil Hills is a town not a dune and it's where the Wright brothers first flew. Pirates Cove is in Manteo. But that's the facts if you'd like to get help with plans just E-mail me with a when, and what you like to do and I can help put a list of stuff to do. Quags is a great place to eat

Adult-life type activities are limited. When I was there I had difficulty finding that. SO I just had to content myself with beautiful beaches and sunsets with drinks.;)

OBX as it is called is a wide area -- the further north you are the more upscale and secluded the beaches become - Duck, Whale, etc . Most of the bar, sports action is in Kitty Hawk area. Go to Kitty Hawk kites - fun. You can also rent kayaks on intercostal, climb Kill devil Hills (huge Sand-dune). If you are into fishing you can charter boats out of Pirates Cove Marina in Ocracoke.

Go to Bob's Bait and Tackle in Duck for great advice and equipment. Tony's Market in Duck has best meat, food etc.

I am from So Cal, but now in Denver. Blacks beach and San Onofre are two of the hotest in So Cal. However, Pirates Cove near San Luis Obipo / Pismo Beach...now that is a happening place, or was. Then there are are few just north of Santa Cruz. And if you are ever in Santa Cruz, check out "Kiva".

Have been to all the local resorts in our area Cypress Cove, Paradise Lakes, Caliente' and Lake Como. We've been mebers at Paradise for a few years but are considering a return to Cypress Cove. Both are about an equal distance. Does anyone know if they offer tent camping at Cypress Cove? B&D
