And yes, you may have to travel a bit. There are many locals near me, and yet, I still travel quite a bit to visit friends. I guess what I am trying to say is, even tho you may find local people, they often times do not want to hook up with locals. I am not sure why this happens, but I have seen it quite a bit. Sometimes, it is simply a scheduling problem. This has happened to me quite a few times with locals. At least when traveling, since scheduling is usually so far in advance, the meetings usually come to fruition. Actually, I am trying to be encouraging. I have never been to SoCal, but simply by reputation it is a bit more liberal than just about anywhere else. Just be patient. You are a great sounding couple. Your profile is great. It will happen.
