Here is my question and I like all to know what they think.
For myself being single it is hard for me to get involved in a 3some when you are getting involved with a married couple. I almost got in involved with a married couple, but one of the married couple started to having feeling for me , more then this person should. My question is how do you make the other person realize that you are not after that person better half. That you want the both or nothing in the sexual way at all. I agree in principle... that close attention should be given to a person's profile... but, I disagree with your particular example. When stating in your profile "who" you are looking for... the only options are: Single Men, Single Women... and Couples. There is no allowance for the Married man.... who is in a open relationship... or any of the other 10,000 variations.

When my wife and I look for another man... we really don't care if he is married or not... providing the chemistry is right between us and him... but, we really aren't looking for couples... since my wife is not Bi... and does not enjoy watching me with other women. Consequently... we are limited to specifying "Single Men"... even if we really don't care that he is single or not.... and obviously... the married men out there.. who are looking for couple action with us... have to take a chance... and approach us. Certainly... that chance would be reduced... if he pays attention to other things we have written in or profile... but... I hope you see our point... and perhaps understand a little better.... why you most likely keep getting approached by married guys. :)

I have to confess that I am one of those offenders. However, there is a reason in my opinion that explains these profiles. When filling out the profile you either choose to list yourself as a single person or as a couple. If you are married or in a relationship already and list yourself as a couple then you are forced to enter your significant other's data and information which is not necessarily pertinent if you're on the site alone. Just because a person is married or in a relationship does not mean that they are swingers or that this person is looking for someone to join the two of them.

I'm not sure if I'm making any sense here to anyone but myself, so I'll use myself as an example. I am a married women and I don't bother hiding it. As a matter of fact, not only is it stated in section 8 of the profile questionnaire, but it is also spelled out, for those who do not bother to read the entire profile, in my description of myself as well. My husband knows that I am bisexual and am a member of this site. However, he does not participate nor is he on the site with me. Therefore, in order to keep the profile honest, I am listed as single, for lack of a better option, but I do state that I am very happily married.

I don't consider those profiles of members who list themselves as single but later in their profile state that they are married as being dishonest. There's just no other way for someone who is married but looking for something else (usually for someone of the same sex) to list themselves.
